I voted for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), H.R. 1, which passed Congress on February 13, 2009 and was signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009.  The Recovery Act will create and save jobs, invest in needed infrastructure projects in our community, and get our economy moving again.   Additionally, this bill will put money back into the hands of those who need it most, through the implementation of more than 30 tax relieve provisions over the next year.
